30 Day Book Challenge

Hmm, I never really planned on doing these meme things when I started this blog. But it’s beautifully sunny outside and I have an ever increasing pile of unread books gathering on my desk so I clearly have nothing better to do. I’m not expecting to actually get all thirty days as I’m quite prone to starting things like this and then forgetting about them half way through, but a lot of you book bloggers seem to be having fun doing it so I’m going to go with it and see what happens!

I’ve seen the challenge popping up on many a lovely book blog and it goes like this:

Day 1: Favourite book
Day 2: Least favourite book
Day 3: Book that makes you laugh out loud
Day 4: Book that makes you cry
Day 5: Book you wish you could live in
Day 6: Favourite young adult book
Day 7: Book you can quote
Day 8: Book that scares you
Day 9: Favourite quote
Day 10: Book that changed you life
Day 11: Book from your favourite author
Day 12: Book that is most like your life
Day 13: Book whose main character is most like you
Day 14: Book whose main character you want to marry
Day 15: First ‘chapter book’ you can remember reading as a child
Day 16: Longest book you’ve read
Day 17: Shortest book you’ve read
Day 18: Book you’re most embarrassed to say you like
Day 19: Book that turned you on
Day 20: Book you’ve read the most number of times
Day 21: Favourite picture book from childhood
Day 22: Book you plan to read next
Day 23: Book you tell people you’ve read but haven’t
Day 24: Book that contains your favourite scene
Day 25: Favourite book you read at school
Day 26: Favourite non-fiction book
Day 27: Favourite series
Day 28: Favourite book title
Day 29: Favourite book turned into a film
Day 30: Best book you’ve read this year

Okay, so my 30 day book meme will commence tomorrow as The Help and Madame Bovary have just been delivered to my door, so the majority of my day will now be spent deliberating over which to read first. I also have a few reviews to finish and post!
